The Perfect Birth…

"I had my baby last Monday morning at 5am, and just wanted to tell you what a big help I think your classes were for me."
Every birth story can be beautiful and empowering even when things go wildly off plan. It’s all about how present you are in the process come hell or highwater… Sometimes we get lucky enough to have an easy breezy birth like Kate: (In her words)
I had my baby last Monday morning at 5am, and just wanted to tell you what a big help I think your classes were for me. My labor was only 5 hours, and I only pushed for 5 minutes before our baby made her debut. No tearing either. I know all the yoga helped, but one of the MOST helpful things that got me through the labor was the method of breathing you recommended in last Sunday’s class – the last class I took before labor! Knowing to relax my jaw and breathe in that horse like way was an incredible tool.
A pic of Cecelia Georgia Montgomery (Cece) is attached just for fun. Thank you again, and I look forward to being back in the postpartum classes! It’s hard to go from walking, yoga and pilates to taking it easy and letting my body heal. 🙂
Now I must remind you that there is NO FORMULA for having the perfect birth. Perfect is as Perfect Does. Stay present with each labor challenge. Process your birth. Change your perspective. Sometimes we go years without processing our birth. It will stain your perception, like a dirty lens.
