ROLLING PINS and CLOTH DIAPERS

They assign 160 diapers to each customer, use eco-friendly detergent, oxygenated bleach and pH test each wash to ensure that all traces of minerals and detergents have been removed.
Today’s Tips for Organic Pregnancy:
Kneeding our heads with rolling pins (normally used for cookie dough) stimulates the head and calms the brain! I will be demonstrating this technique in my classes this week – so if you have a rolling pin stashed away somewhere- bring it with you. If you don’t, not to worry- we can share the one I have. 🙂
Monica Valle, one of my former prenatal students, did a fantastic write up on her interview with luludew DIAPERING SERVICE:
“The one company that I am really excited about right now is Luludew Diaper Service (www.luludew.com, email [email protected]). It is a female-owned business out of Alhambra, and they also have a diaper service. Basically, they drop off 80 clean organic cloth diapers, and pick up the soiled ones weekly. They assign 160 diapers to each customer, use eco-friendly detergent, oxygenated bleach and pH test each wash to ensure that all traces of minerals and detergents have been removed. The cost averages out to be about $20 per week, actually less if you sign up for one of their promotion starting packages. Included in the service are the 80 cloth diapers, a diaper pail and deodorant disk and a home visit to review how to go about cloth diapering (my favorite part!). They actually like you to sign up about two weeks before your due date and will drop off the first set of clean diapers for you to use once you are ready. Once you are ready to start the service, you give them a call, and they will schedule your home on their regular weekly drop off / pick up route. What I really liked about them was the fact that Sandy, the owner actually came out to my home and gave us a demonstration as to how to go about using the cloth diapers, so we actually got to see the product. Very helpful as I had only seen the diaper covers online.”
