Belly Up!

The buzz in class this week was all about belly support for pre and post natal.  If you are on your feet a lot, you might want to try this device for sacral and low back support.  After you have the baby, it takes time for your uterus to shrink back to its normal pre-pregnancy size.  The sacral hip belt can be very useful during postpartum as you work to strengthen relaxed muscles.  I've grown so fond of the bengkuk belly bind great for two weeks after birth through 6 weeks+ postpartum.  And of course the absolute best gift you can give yourself is regular visits with a Women's Physical Therapist during pregnancy and postpartum.  Many take PPO insurance:-)))
